The Las Sendas Golf Club is an Arizona golf course that requires exceptional course management to
score well. Here, old foxes can outwit young lumberjacks. Just
hitting the ball will not be enough. "I have an old friend who lives at
Las Sendas" says Curt Lerew, at AZ4Golf.com. "We truly enjoy
the golf challenges and beauty here!" Las Sendas is a typical Robert Trent Jones, Jr. design and the first for him in the Phoenix area.
You must favor the correct sides of the fairways to have the best angles to
the greens. Some holes require a lay-up so you don't have an impossible
view to the green. The greens at the Las Sendas Golf Club are subtle, but be precise when you read
the break to avoid slipping past the hole! The land falls toward the
southwest and the grass grows toward the setting sun. A Preferred Arizona Golf
Packages course! "Golf Digest" rated it as the 16th "Best in State" golf course for 1997-98. Be
sure to put Las Sendas on the list for your next Arizona golf package.
