The Whirlwind Golf Club is a Gary Panks designed championship Arizona golf
course with two beautiful 18 hole golf courses! Located just off of I-10
and Maricopa, the Whirlwind Golf Club offers golfers of all skill levels a
real challenge on their Arizona golf vacation while maintaining a sense of
fair play!
Devil's Claw at Whirlwind plays over 7,000 yards designed with flat rolling and forgiving fairways and somewhat devious tiered greens in a natural setting of native flora. Devil's Claw uses an increase in elevation as one of its design features. The 7th hole, Dragonfly Falls, is Whirlwind's signature, and one of only two water features on the course. This par-3 will force you to carry over the lake from all but the front tees. Watch out for the waterfall sitting off the right side of the green! The Cattail Course is the newer of the two courses and designed the opposite, with deep canyons and pristine lakes and plays over 7200 yards from the tips.
