The Wildfire Golf Club is an eighteen hole course that is situated in the Sonoran Desert north of the new Desert Ridge Mall. The course is a desert-style layout with all of the holes framed by desert outcroppings. There are several sectioned fairways. Target-style golf must be utilized at Wildfire, forcing players to be accurate with their ball placement. The greens are fairly large with slight undulations, making precise putting important to achieving a good score.
